T-CAL will actively promote values conducive to the renewal of communities and the rescue of youth through the power of organized athletics and academics.
T-CAL will offer a single league solution to the various educational organization of Texas.
T-CAL will offer Leadership intern programs to its members to specifically harness, channel, and develop the character of students for a lifetime of service.
T-CAL will honor its students, coaches, parents, and teachers by organizing and offering excellence in all the events it produces.
T-CAL will organize various groups which will assist us in fulfilling the mission, purpose, and values of our league.
Our Purpose
We will establish local districts and regions to facilitate specific events, whereby schools can not only compete, but also collaborate, build relationships, and actively serve their communities while laying a foundation of educational and athletic excellence in students.
Our Values
T-CAL emphasizes five foundational values that we expect all of our Students, Coaches, Administrators, and Parents to display during the course of all athletic and academic contests. These values are the foundation of our league and their expansion is our primary mission.
- Respect: Giving meaningful regard to coaches, team-mates, and opponents through words, actions, and the ability to receive instruction and congratulating opponents in victory or defeat.
- Self-Control: Focusing my attention on the impact of my own actions, emotions, and communication.
- Integrity: Assuring who I am externally matches with who I am internally and daily striving to address issues honestly while I lead other by my example.
- Humility: Working purposefully to consistently develop and maintain a positive environment on my team, in my classroom, at my home, and on the field of play.
- Positive Environment: Fostering a positive environment in practice, games, classrooms, and family life.
